My Little Town

This is my friend and fellow photographer Felicia Whitworth. We are always glad to see each other.

Yesterday I was backing out of a parking space at Wal Mart here in Ada and paused for someone (who I didn’t know) who was getting into their vehicle next to me. He paused also and said, “Go ahead, Richard.”

Then last night while working a basketball game in Stratford someone (who I didn’t know) shook my hand and said, “Hey, Richard. Thanks for the photo.”

On my way back into town, I decided to go by a house that was known for its spectacular Christmas decorations. I knocked on the door and before I could see inside I heard, “Richard!” It was my friend Felicia Whitworth and her mother-in-law Janis Walker. Felicia hugged the stuffing out of me and we talked for a while.

Finally, when I arrived at the Ada High School gym to cover their basketball games, I settled in to my spot on the west baseline. I looked at the opposite end of the court at the student section to see this…

I think they might have recognized me.
