Last night I repeatedly dreamed about a new pellet-ized food that was made of literally everything; rocks, garbage, people, seawater, iron, feces, gold, plastic, uranium. Everything.
Even after getting up to feed the dogs and going back to bed, I continued to dream about it.
It looked a little like deer droppings.

I’m pretty sure “everything” is what’s already in our food, based on the length of some ingredients lists. ;-)
Barely related: I read a story not long ago about insects becoming the next major food source for humans — especially in starvation-prone areas, primarily because of low production costs (they reproduce better than just about anything else) and high nutritional value. While societal conditioning means I simply can NOT eat a spoonful of dead insects, I suppose if they were processed into an unrecognizable form (brown pellets) then I might at least *try* it.
I would eat bugs if they were hot, crispy, and salty.
