If marriage is sacred, then divorce, not homosexuality, is the abomination.
This post was updated June 29, 2015, a few days after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that same-sex marriage is legal in all 50 states. I included this rainbow picture, made here at our home in Byng, as a symbol of support for the LGBT community.

But you’re using logic and common sense, which really isn’t fair to Bible-believing Christians. (I make a distinction because there are many people who call themselves ‘Christians’ who don’t necessarily base their faith on the Bible.)
For those who base their beliefs and rules on the Bible, it does say that “God hates divorce” (Mal. 2:16), while also saying homosexuality is an abomination (Lev. 18:22).
It should be noted (my apologies for furthering the use of logic and/or common sense) that Leviticus also has other encouraging things to say:
“…everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death.” (20:9)
Slavery is okay. (25:44)
Don’t eat pork. (11:7)
And many more, should Christians need something to ponder.
DON’T GIVE THEM IDEAS.
Further (since you updated recently), if “traditional” marriage is the only admissible umbrella under which to raise children, then single-parent households, with about 40% of our nation’s children, are the real enemy, not gay parents.
