My Snowy Valentine

Abby and I are staying in this Valentine’s Day. We made breakfast together and chewed up a few chores, but for the most part, we are just being together. I gifted her with chrysanthemums, which we both liked better than roses, since she can plant them in the spring. I also gave her a unique crystal pendant, which she is wearing today, and planning to wear tomorrow.

For much of the morning it snowed yet again. This is easily the snowiest winter either of us can remember here. It was really beautiful.

  1. Yes, the pendant is beautiful, as are the flowers and the snow. My parents (who’ve lived in Oklahoma since the 1940s) are also reporting that this is one of the snowiest winters they can remember.

My Dad says he remembers a couple in the ’50s that were snowier (more snowy?) than this, but of course has nothing to measure it by. :-)
