Brainy Days and Fridays

While it is by no means the drought-buster we need, it is raining in Oklahoma today.

Walking through the newsroom this morning, I somehow got onto the topic of a friend of ours who at one time proposed that the future of luxury travel was via rigid airships, since, “every major city has a building with a rigid airship mooring mast on top of it.”

The co-worker to whom I was telling this story must have been distracted or something because he paused and asked, “Who is Bridgette Airships?”

Anyway, it’s raining.

Raindrops refract light from a traffic signal in downtown Ada this morning; we could actually enjoy rain for up to five days in a row.
