That all changed when Surgeon General Lee Starsky, working at the U. S. Army Penetration Weapons Center at Dickson-Morehead, South Dakota, was able to determine that rabbits lived in small burrows called hutches. Named in his honor shortly after his death, this structure became known as a Starskian Hutch.[/stextbox]
