When time and circumstance permit, Richard takes his vacations in the spectacular outdoor playground of the American southwest, particularly the beautiful deserts of New Mexico and Utah. Richard and Abby were married there, at the iconic Delicate Arch in southeastern Utah’s Arches National Park in October 2004. Abby died in March 2022.
