My Ottoman Empire

Dream: I fly from Atlanta to Lexington, Oklahoma, where I am writing a screenplay about rogue ottomans who are attacking and killing the townspeople. As I begin to pen the play, I become part of it. I am on a grassy knoll at an intersection in Lexington where there is one butterscotch-colored ottoman. It moves towards me and gently trips me. Suddenly there are many more, gently moving around, trying to trip me. I don’t fall, but I find the affair annoying.

For anyone keeping score, I got the new solid state drive installed on my home iMac. Speed tests reveal it is roughly five times faster than the conventional hard drive it replaced. Installation was easy using Apple’s Time Machine, which installed my computer on the new Crucial M4 solid state drive exactly as it was on the old hard drive.
