A Special Note about Scanning in Norman, Oklahoma...

Norman uses a trunked radio system on 800Mhz, like many municipalities. If your scanner isn't equipped for following trunked fleet traffic, these frequencies contain all types of city services, not just public safety...

856.76250    856.96250  857.76250  857.96250  858.76250   858.96250  859.76250  859.96250   860.76250  860.96250

If, however, you are only interested in Norman Police traffic, it all gets simulcast on highway patrol repeaters, along with OHP dispatch...

856.98750  857.98750  858.98750  859.98750  860.98750
