Richard R. Barron is a professional photographer living in the bucolic splendor of southeastern Oklahoma.

Richard, Mitchell and Abby

Richard has been married to the most amazing Abby S. M. Barron since October 2004, and together they are the guardians of A. Mitchell Garis. The Barrons have two pygmy wethers (gentlemen goats) who live in the back yard, Buxton and Coal, and two energetic Chihuahuas who live in the house, Max and Sierra.

The Barron’s hobbies include hiking in the adventure playground of the Colorado Plateau, flying, climbing, camping, music, writing, and film-making. Abby is a talented crocheter, and Mitchell plays the electric guitar and the clarinet.

Richard’s first spoken word was “radio.”
