Abby and I are dogsitting a Jack Russell Terrier named Leo for the next couple of days. Leo is still something of a puppy, so he plays ceaselessly, particularly with Max, while Sierra doesn’t care much for him. Abby thinks Leo is very sweet, and assured me she will miss him when he goes home.

Max and Leo size each other up this evening. Despite seeming to have a pretty good time, Max finally had enough of Leo's puppiness and hid under our bed.

  1. In that last shot, Max appears to need some sort of mood stabilizer drug.

(My neighbors have a couple of new dogs. Their breed is what I like to call “little dog”. Very high strung.)
