The internet has been abuzz for almost a week now about an approaching winter storm. The talk has been so frenzied it has achieved an almost sexual quality. I guess when the weather puts the beat-down on everyone, you can feel like you’re part of the big play.

Anyway, it was nice enough driving to town today for supplies that I was able to leave the sunroof open.

In case you were wondering, no, we were not running dangerously low on staple items like rice and gasoline. I was going to town today regardless of the weather situation.

  1. Yesterday, weather.com said the winter storm wouldn’t arrive here in Killeen until tonight… But it got here last night…

Mostly just wind and cold. :-)
