Experimenting with Mixed Lighting

Here are a few images from my advanced digital photography class tonight. Despite grey, misty weather, everyone seemed to have a great time, and I hope they all got something out of this session. While I enjoy teaching all of my classes, the advanced is always more fun, and I think they have more fun, too.

Tonight we walked over to the goat cheese factory incubator, but the big chrome milk truck was gone. The old fire truck, ambulance, and school bus were still there, and we even got aboard the school bus and turned on the lights and stop sign. In addition to them, some of us got interested in photographing the reflections of the bus in the puddles that formed in the slate-gravel parking lot.

We ran into a maintenance worker who told us about an old car abandoned behind the pond, so next week that will be my assignment for them, weather permitting.

You can see all seven of us in this image, made in the mirror of an old school bus.
